FOOD PHILOSOPHY

Food and eating are a vital part of our lives and should be enjoyed!

I prefer to focus on the healthy nutrition and lifestyle choices you can add to your life rather than what you must restrict or eliminate. I prefer to focus on progress toward your goal, not perfection.

I feel it is important to get back to basics and cook more of the meals we consume. I know that our busy lives don’t always make this easy but know that it is easier with planning. dietician

 I make an effort to support local businesses whenever possible. This includes farmers, farmers markets, local grocers, local restaurants and other local small businesses.  dietician

I generally prefer to opt for whole, minimally processed foods more often than not. But I do live in the real world. As a mother of two teenage boys my preference is not top priority. Sound familiar?

 I believe that the lifestyle choices that I have sustained for 30 years have helped to minimize the severity and day to day impact of symptoms while living with Multiple Sclerosis. I would like to help others make healthy changes so they can eat better and feel better.  

COACHING PHILOSOPHY

I believe it is never too late to make a change. It is crucial to accept and meet clients “where they are” in their nutrition journey. dietician

I believe that there is more than one “right way” to achieve a healthy diet. Everyone has different preferences, barriers and motivations to change. Together we will discover  your “right way”. dietician
